The Retroultrafuzz is based upon our super popular Fuzz149.
The FUZZ 149 is actually a fuzztortion pedal. Super high gain via a single silicon transistor with diode clipping. The pedal is housed in a smaller enclosure to make it very pedal board friendly. The Retroultrafuzz adds a tone and gain control to offer greater versatility
The Retroultrafuzz is powered via 9V negative centre pin mains power only.
We use industry standard through hole components and make each pedal totally by hand on vero board. Absolute analog all the way.
