Our Stage Series electric CBGs are built using handmade, reinforced boxes for rugged durability and improved acoustic resonance.
We use modern, quality components such as fixed, adjustable bridges, closed machine heads, high powered humbucker pickups, alpha pots and jacks and bone nuts. Each instrument is finished with hand applied dyes and water based lacquers. Every Stage Series electric guitar is handmade specifically for you and we are happy to offer a great range of options, including 3, 4 or 6 string, left or right handed as well as hardware colour options.
There will always be small variations from build to build depending on hardware availability and the natural grains and colours of timbers chosen.

The ‘Juke Joint Rocker’ is our best selling CBG style ever! It’s super tough design allows it to be taken on stage and survive all the knocks and bumps that life on the road can dish out. It utilises an electric guitar pickup to provide killer tones at high volume and with loads of distortion as well.
All Birdwood Guitars are set up to provide beautiful playability and excellent intonation from the nut all the way up the neck to the bridge saddle. Well, due to popular demand from you guys for more variety in the STAGE SERIES electric range, the ‘Cowgirl Blues’ guitar is back!
This guitar was a very popular instrument a few years ago and was discontinued simply because it was quite time consuming to build! I was so busy in the old bricks and mortar shop that I simply didn’t have the time to build it.
Thats the benefit of coming back online. I can do these awesome guitars again.

Our STAGE SERIES CBGs are designed to be able to take all the bumps and knocks that life on the road can dish out. We build handmade enclosures for these models that have sides measuring 19mm these are tough guitars that also sound incredible acoustically. However, you want to rock out so we use a full sized black cover, enclosed humbucking pickup to provide THE ROCK!!!
