The Lawson is based on a Teisco electric guitar that I used to own. It’s a model that is becoming increasingly difficult to find at reasonable prices and in a playable condition. I build these guitars from a range of materials ranging from old table tops, 2×4 lumber and marine ply! To keep prices at a sensible level, I use quality aftermarket necks that are made from maple and topped with environmentally sensitive pau fero fretboards. To keep the spanky tone of these guitars and maintain a quiet noise level I use mini humbucker pickups that provide a focussed tone and quiet operation.
Your guitar is available in a variety of finishes ranging from Juke Joint Rocker burst, off white, Trans Black or Forrest green. Simply let me know what you would like when you order.
