I have built the guitar with a white oak neck that has a beautiful natural patina and is protected with three coats of linseed oil. The neck is topped with a thick mahogany fretboard and medium frets which have been professionally finished.
An electric guitar pickup provides you the opportunity to play with more gain and at a greater volume.
