‘Perdomo’ 3 string electro/acoustic CBG
This beautiful cigar box guitar has been built using a rare Perdomo, 10th Anniversary cigar box. It’s been paired with a stunning river sheoak fretboard that highlights the amazing colours of both box and fretboard.
We have used an electro/acoustic piezo pickup so you can play through a guitar amplifier or PA.
A added volume control also acts as a hi pass filter so if your amplifier is a little ‘bitey’ you can roll off the volume just a touch to reduce the high end.
The guitar has a lively unplugged volume and has been strung up with a wonderful set of Steve Arvey’s USA made KILLER STRINGS.
Once plugged in the guitar can play anything from super clean jazzy passages to snarly blues with a bit of overdrive. I’d suggest avoiding very high gain distortion as that’s not what this guitar is all about.
